Meet the Award-Winning Winemaker

Thacher Winery is an award-winning sustainable, organically farmed winery and vineyard in Paso Robles, California. Winemaker / owners Sherman and Michelle Thacher will be joining us for the evening and guiding us through each pairing. His focus is on creating food-friendly, natively fermented wines that reflect the terroirs of the Central Coast. With a commitment to minimal intervention winemaking practices and using native ferments, Sherman and his family produce wines that are elegant, nuanced, and naturally balanced.

Meet our Local Chef

Chef Sarah, founder of Farmer Meets Foodie and a Montana farmer’s daughter, has spent the past decade showcasing local and organic ingredients through specialty food products. After studying French culinary techniques, Sarah moved to Maui where she learned the fundamentals of permaculture, deepening her appreciation for thoughtful ingredient sourcing. In all of her recipes, Sarah prioritizes ingredients that haven’t been exposed to genetic engineering or chemicals. She also believes in supporting the local agricultural community and utilizes only the best to create delightful, organic meals for her guests.
